Ag Hero Day - Wednesday, March 19

Unsung heroes across the state wake up early each morning and go to bed long after dark to produce the food and fiber Georgians use every day. Help us celebrate these agricultural heroes and highlight their sacrifices by participating in Ag Hero Day.

Ways to participate:

• Share your personal Georgia #AgHeroDay story on social media! Post a photo or video of your hero and tell their story or record a video of yourself thanking them. Use hashtags #GaAgWeek2025 and #AgHeroDay for the chance to see your hero featured on the Department’s social media sites.
• Involve the kiddos by having them write a thank you note to their local farmers and producers. Don’t forget to share these special messages on social media. You can download thank you note templates below. Kids can color in the black and white cards, or you can print in full color.
