Green Day Produce, Inc. - is recalling 200g/ 7.05oz packages of ENOKI MUSHROOM sold from September 2022 - October 2022 because it has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Although healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.

The recalled Enoki Mushroom was distributed nationwide to distributors and retail stores.



The Enoki Mushroom comes in a 200g/7.05oz clear plastic package with the following description “Enoki Mushroom” in the front and Green Day Produce, Inc. in the back. The UPC is 16430-69080 is located on the back side of the package. There is no lot code or dates on the package.

No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem. The distribution of the product has been suspended.



The potential for contamination was discovered after a retail sample was collected and analyzed by Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD) and revealed the presence of Listeria monocytogenes in 200g/7.05 oz. package of Enoki mushroom.



This recall is being made with the knowledge of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and CDPH.

Nestlé USA - is recalling Edible Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough tubs from NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® due to the potential presence of soft plastic film. This voluntary recall is isolated to three batches of Edible Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough tubs from NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® that were produced August 1-3, 2022. These products were distributed to retailers nationwide. This recall does not involve any other NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® products, including other varieties of Edible cookie dough or Ready-to-Bake cookie dough.

Cedar Creek Popcorn - is recalling 18 oz. Old-Fashioned Caramel Holiday Popcorn Box because the side of the box features a Gluten Free claim when there are elements with gluten contained in the product.   People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to wheat run the risk of serious or life threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

Cedar Creek’s 18 oz. Old-Fashioned Caramel Holiday Popcorn Box was distributed nationwide at Tractor Supply Company stores.  It carries a UPC code of 025606000612.

The product comes in a cardboard box – photographs follow this release.  All lots and dates of manufacture are included in the recall.

No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this product.

The recall was initiated because the Gluten Free claim on the side of the packaging did not match with the product’s ingredient label and allergen information.  Procedures are being put in place to assure that food safety issues are taken into consideration for the design and approval of all future packaging.

The product has been removed from sale at Tractor Supply Company stores.

Lone Star Bakery, Inc. - is recalling beef shepherd's pie products that may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically copper wire pieces, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.



The frozen beef shepherd’s pie products were produced on April 1, 2022, with a use by date of Sept. 23, 2023. The following products are subject to recall [view labels]:

Seed Ranch Flavor Co. - is recalling 5 fl ounce bottles of "Umami Everyday Sauce" and “Everything But The Sushi & Dumplings” sauce because they contain undeclared soy. People who have allergies to soy run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.



No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.



The recalled "Umami Everyday Sauce" and “Everything But The Sushi & Dumplings” were distributed nationwide in select retail stores, through Amazon.com, and the company’s own website, www.seedranchflavor.com<



The products come in 5 fluid ounce, glass woozy bottles.

Lot codes and best-by dates can be found on the upper portion of the glass bottle, above the label, printed in either black or orange directly on the glass bottle. Below are photos of affected labels.



The recall was initiated after it was discovered that the soy-containing product was distributed in packaging that did not explicitly reveal the presence of soy. Subsequent investigation indicates the problem was caused by a temporary breakdown in the company's production and packaging processes during a label redesign.



Production of the products with incorrect labels have been suspended and allergen information clearly disclosed on corrected labels.



Consumers who have purchased 5 fl ounce bottles of "Umami Everyday" or “Everything But The Sushi & Dumplings” are urged to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund or replacement.

Sotto i Trulli INC/DBA Bombolo Biscotti - is recalling Assorted Italian Cookies because it contains Italian Wedding Cookies with undeclared walnut ingredient. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to walnut allergen, run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.



The product was distributed to Publix Supermarkets in Lakeland Fl, Orlando Fl, Deerfield Fl, Atlanta GA, and McLeansville NC. The Product comes in a 16 oz clear plastic clamshell, with Bombolo Biscotti label, marked with lot # 092222 on the case label, Expiration date 04/05/2023 on top of the package, UPC code 852158002272 at the bottom of the package.

Bob Evans Farms Foods, Inc. - is recalling Italian pork sausage products that may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically thin blue rubber, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.

  • 1-lb. chubs containing “Bob Evans Italian Sausage” with lot code XEN3663466 and a “USE/FRZ BY” date of 11/26/22, with a time stamp between 14:43 and 15:25.

The products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. 6785” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to retail locations nation-wide.

Nestlé USA - is recalling ready-to-bake refrigerated NESTLE© TOLL HOUSE© STUFFED Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough with Fudge Filling products due to the potential presence of white plastic pieces.

This voluntary recall is isolated to NESTLE© TOLL HOUSE© STUFFED Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough with Fudge Filling products that were produced between June and September 2022. These products were distributed in the continental United States and Puerto Rico.

No other Nestlé© Toll House products, including other NESTLE© TOLL HOUSE© STUFFED Cookie Dough and NESTLE© TOLL HOUSE© refrigerated cookie dough products, are impacted by this recall.

While no illnesses or injuries have been reported, we immediately took action out of an abundance of caution after a small number of consumers contacted Nestle© USA about this issue.

Consumers who may have purchased NESTLE© TOLL HOUSE© STUFFED Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough with Fudge Filling should not prepare or consume the product and should return the product to the retailer where it was purchased for a replacement or refund. Hammond's Candies - is recalling 5-ounce boxes of Hammond's Salted Caramel Cookies because they may contain undeclared peanuts. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

The product was distributed nationwide in retail stores and through mail orders.

The recalled Hammond’s Salted Caramel Cookies are packaged in a 5-ounce printed cardstock box, with UPC -6 91355 89889 5. Hammond’s item number for this product is CK15008. The recalled product code, “Best By: 6/29/2023A" can be found on a sticker and it is located at the lower-right corner of the back of the box.



No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem to date.

The recall was initiated after a routine product check revealed that peanut-containing product had been packed and distributed in incorrect packaging, which did not declare the presence of peanuts. Further investigation has determined the root cause to be a temporary failure of the manufacturer’s packing and product release process.

Abbott - is recalling 2 fluid ounce/59 milliliter bottles of Ready-to-Feed liquid products for infants and children including the brands Similac® Pro-Total ComfortTM, Similac® 360 Total Care®, Similac 360 Total Care Sensitive, Similac® Special Care® 24, Similac Stage 1, Similac® NeoSure®, Similac Water (Sterilized) and Pedialyte Electrolyte Solution. The products included in the recall were manufactured at our Columbus, Ohio, manufacturing facility.

These products are being recalled because a small percentage of bottles (less than 1%) in the recalled lots have bottle caps that may not have sealed completely, which could result in spoilage. If spoiled product is consumed, gastrointestinal symptoms such as diarrhea and vomiting may occur.

This recall does not include any other liquid or powder formula brands or other nutrition products produced in our Columbus facility or elsewhere within our global nutrition manufacturing network. It also does not include any amino acid-based formulas or metabolic nutrition formulas.

This recall equates to less than one day's worth of the total number of ounces of infant formula fed in the U.S. and is not expected to impact the overall U.S. infant formula supply. Abbott is continuing production of Similac 2 fluid ounce/59 milliliter Ready-to-Feed liquid formula products for hospitals and healthcare providers' offices on a different production line. Similac infant formula will continue to be produced in alternative product sizes and formats for delivery to retail locations, in addition to increased production throughout our global manufacturing network.

The products included in the recall were distributed primarily to hospitals and to some doctors’ offices, distributors and retailers in the U.S., including Puerto Rico; one lot of products was sent to Barbados, Bermuda, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Jamaica, St. Croix and St. Thomas; and two lots were sent to Canada, Curacao, Panama, and Trinidad and Tobago.
