Structural Pest License Renewals

This page will be updated periodically. Be sure to check back for more updates and information about the 2025 renewal season.


License renewal notifications will be sent out by email in mid-May 2025. To ensure you are ready for renewals, please review the following prep information for your currently held license(s).

Company Renewal Preparation

To ensure you are on track for renewals, complete each of the checklist items before renewal notices are sent out in mid-May: 

  • DCO is Prepared
    • Know your DCO’s certification expiration date & ensure they are on track with their CEUs.
  • Company Contact Information is Current
    • Check to ensure that the SPD has your current contact email and address by viewing your company profile.
      • Your company’s email and mailing address may be updated online.
      • If your company’s physical address has changed, please complete a Change of Address form to update this information.
  • Company Insurance is Current
    • Check your company profile to ensure insurance is up to date. 
      • Updated insurance may be submitted online or by email to Insurance@agr.georgia.gov.
      • Instructions on submitting insurance and minimum requirements can be found on the Insurance Certification Form.
      • Note that all insurance updates, including those submitted online, require processing time to be verified by the SPD. 
      • Do not wait until the last day to submit documentation.
  • Registered Employees Up to Date & On Track
    • Ensure registered employees will earn their required CEUs prior to 3/1/2025 & verify that your list of registered employees is current on your company profile.
      • Note there is an exception for employees who took their registration exam on or after 10/1/2024, they are exempt from the CEU requirement for this renewal.

Certified Operator Renewal Preparation

To ensure you are on track for renewals, complete each of the checklist items before renewal notices are sent out in mid-May: 

  • Check CEUs
    • If your certification expiration date is prior to 6/30/2025, ensure you are on track to earn enough CEUs to recertify.
  • Contact Information is Current 

Registered Employee Renewal Preparation

Registered Employee licenses are renewed and paid for by the company that employs them. New license cards will be sent to the company’s mailing address.

To ensure you are eligible to be renewed by your company you can verify you are up to date and on track with your CEUs by scanning the QR code on the back of your Employee Registration card, or visiting the license search page and entering your SP number.

Please note that if you took your registration exam prior to 10/1/2024, your CEUs for renewal must be earned prior to 3/1/2025.

If you took your registration exam on or after 10/1/2024 you are exempt from the CEU requirement for this renewal.
