A current representative analysis is required at the time of registration for soil amendments derived from industrial by-products or sewage sludge.
The following criteria must be met for each analysis:
- Conducted within six (6) months of submission;
- Reported on the laboratory’s letterhead;
- Performed on a dry weight basis; and
- Indicate specific analytical methods used.
Analysis must include the following tests::
- Ammonia as N, %
- Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen, %
- Total Nitrogen, %
- Nitrate as N, %
- Volatile Solids, %
- Total Solids, %
- pH, standard units
- Total Phosphorus as P, %
- Total Potassium as K, %
- Arsenic, mg/kg
- Cadmium, mg/kg
- Copper, mg/kg
- Lead, mg/kg
- Mercury, mg/kg
- Molybdenum, mg/kg
- Nickel, mg/kg
- Selenium, mg/kg
- Zinc, mg/kg
- Aluminum, mg/kg
