MaryRuth's is recalling liquid probiotic for infants (1oz) due to the possibility of contamination by Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a microorganism found in the environment that, if ingested, can cause infection in immunocompromised individuals or, rarely, in very young infants. The company is asking consumers to throw away product from both affected lot numbers. Impacted consumers may contact MaryRuth's Customer Care Center to request a full refund.

This recall only affects two lots of the product, Lot #100420218 and Lot #100520218, UPC barcode number 856645008587. Lot numbers are located on the side of the bottle and on the bottom of the outer container in which the product is sold. No other lots or any other MaryRuth's products are affected by this recall. This product is distributed nationwide through Target, Amazon, and direct sales from the company's website.

Bobo's is recalling Bobo's 4-Pack Almond Butter Protein Bars because they may contain undeclared peanuts. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

The 4-Pack Almond Butter Protein Bars were distributed through select Target stores nationwide. The product can be identified by the 4-pack Multipack UPC:8-29262-00326-6, the individual bar UPC:8-29262-00201-6, the Master Case UPC:8-29262-00370-9, and lot code found on a stamp on the back of the bar: 1H18403L, Best By 5/15/2022. The bars are 2.2oz and were sold in a 4-pack.

Cedar's Mediterranean Foods is recalling Cedar's Organic Mediterranean Hommus 10 oz. because it may contain an incorrect back label and undeclared allergen (Pine Nut). People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to Tree Nuts run the risk of serious or life threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

The product was distributed in MA, FL, GA, NC, OR, OK, LA, AZ, CO, WI, MD, OH, CA, NV, NM, UT, MO, ME, NY, KS, AL, TN, MN, The Cedar’s Organic Mediterranean Hommus is packaged in a 10 oz. plastic container, with a UPC Code: 044115403028. The product is a refrigerated product with a Sell by Date DEC 12, 2021 (32I21). Sell by Date and Batch code information can be found printed on containers lid. Cedar’s initiated the recall when it was discovered that a mislabeled container failed to scan at the point of sale. No illnesses have been confirmed to date.

EveryPlate is conducting a recall of its onions due to the potential presence of salmonella bacteria. Please discard all onions received from July 7, 2021 through September 8, 2021. EveryPlate recommends disposing of onions received during the specified time period. Please note that onions received after September 8, 2021 are not affected by this recall. Keeler Family Farms is recalling red, yellow, and white onions shipped from July 1, 2021 through August 25, 2021 that were imported from Chihuahua, MX. The onions are recalled because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. Salmonella, is an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.

Onions were distributed to wholesalers, restaurants, and retail stores in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. The onions were distributed in 25lb/50lb mesh sacks. They contain a label that is marked as MVP (product of MX), but were processed at Keeler Family Farms. The last to ship was on August 25, 2021.

652 total illnesses have been reported to date including 202 hospitalizations. States with cases include: AL, AR, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, ND, NE, NJ, NM, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WI, and WV.

Smilin' Bob's is recalling Smilin' Bob's Original Smoked Fish Dip that was mistakenly packed in Smilin' Bob's Natural Smoked Fish Dip cups with a Original Smoked Fish Dip lid. Smilin' Bob's discovered the issue when one of our retail customers discovered that cups had a UPC code that did not match that for the "original" fish dip. As a result, the packaging does not list the presence of a possible egg allergen. Some people who have an extreme allergy or severe sensitivity to egg could run the risk of a serious or life threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

No illnesses have been reported to date. Smilin' Bob's is working with distributors and retailers to quarantine and recover any impacted product remaining on store shelves. A total of 461 cases were distributed to retailers in the states of FL, GA, AL, SC, TN, NC, and VA.

The containers have the "Best If Use By" dates stated below printed on the side of each container and the lot number stated for each product on the side or the lid (see attached pictures). This recall applies only to the products with the "Best If Use By" dates stated below.

The products are whole raw onions (red, yellow, and white) that were shipped to the United States from Chihuahua, Mexico, between July 1, 2021, and August 31, 2021, and were distributed in AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, NE, NJ, NM, NY, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, VA, and WI, as well as Ontario and Quebec, Canada.

The onions were distributed to wholesalers, broadline foodservice customers, and retail stores in 50 lb., 25 lb., 10 lb., 5 lb., 3 lb., and 2 lb. mesh sacks; and 50 lb., 40 lb., 25 lb., 10 lb., and 5 lb. cartons, by the following distributors and/or under the following brands:

Big Bull, Peak Fresh Produce, Sierra Madre, Markon First Crop., Markon Essentials, Rio Blue, ProSource, Rio Valley, and Sysco Imperial.

Butterball, LLC is recalling 14,107 pounds of ground turkey products that may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically blue plastic, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced. The ground turkey items were produced on September 28, 2021. The following products are subject to recall:

  • 2.5-lb. trays containing “farm to family BUTTERBALL all natural Ground Turkey” with the case code 50211271, a sell or freeze by date of 10/18/2021, and timestamps from 2123 through 2302 printed on the packaging.

    3-lb. tray containing “Kroger GROUND TURKEY” with the case code 50211271, a sell or freeze by date of 10/17/2021, and timestamps from 2314 through 2351 printed on the packaging.

     

     

    The products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. P-7345” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to retail locations nationwide.

Nestlé Professional is recalling Nature’s Heart 1.5 ounce fruit and trail mix products because they may contain undeclared peanuts. People who have an allergy to peanuts run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products. The recall only applies to the four Nature’s Heart products (listed above) sold in 1.5 oz packages. No other retail Nature’s Heart products are affected.
