Young kittens are especially vulnerable to multi-system risks, such as anemia, neurological dysfunction, liver failure, kidney damage, skeletal diseases, and cardiac compromise. Due to the rapid growth of young kittens, clinical signs may appear within days to a few weeks, and the deficiencies can be fatal or cause permanent organ damage if not recognized in time. Consumers who have kittens that have consumed any of the recalled products and are showing clinical signs should contact their veterinarian.
