About the Georgia Tobacco Commission
The Georgia Agricultural Commodity Commission for Tobacco supports approximately 7,000 acres of tobacco production, concentrated in South Georgia. With origins dating back to the 1700s, tobacco remains a vital crop, typically harvested from late July through September. The Commission promotes sustainable practices and represents grower interests across research, marketing, and industry development.
Forms & Registration
Assessment forms are used to report and remit checkoff funds. Nomination forms allow growers to submit candidates for commission appointments.
