Brown Cattle on Green Lawn Grass during Daytime

Georgia Beef Commission

The Georgia Beef Commission promotes and supports the state’s beef industry through research, education, and marketing efforts at home and abroad.

About the Georgia Beef Commission

The Georgia Beef Commission is a producer driven, farmer funded program created by the Georgia General Assembly in 2013 and officially started in 2014. Its mission and operations are supported by a $1-per-head assessment on all cattle sold for beef in Georgia—this assessment is subject to renewal by cattle producers through a referendum every three years, most recently renewed with 82% approval in June 2023.
