Georgia Grown Program Unites with Americas Mart at 2024 Atlanta Market

Atlanta, GA - Today, the Georgia Department of Agriculture announced an exciting collaboration between the Georgia Grown program and Americas Mart, operated by ANDMORE, at the 2024 January Atlanta Market. Renowned for championing the state's agricultural prowess, this partnership marks a significant milestone in showcasing Georgia's diverse agricultural commodities. From January 17th to the 20th, the event will spotlight 60 Georgia Grown member companies at the Gourmet, Body & Soul, High Design, Tabletop, Housewares, and Made in America sections at the Atlanta Market, promising a unique opportunity for Georgia Grown members to showcase the quality, innovation, and passion behind some of Georgia's finest products.

“At Georgia Grown, we are deeply committed to supporting our local small businesses at every step of their journey. Our partnership with America’s Mart at the Atlanta Market is a testament to that commitment,” said Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tyler Harper. “It's a fantastic opportunity for our Georgia Grown members to showcase their incredible products to buyers from around the globe without leaving the state. This collaboration is a great example of how Georgia Grown membership provides opportunities for growth and visibility for our local businesses - connecting them with expansive, new markets and diverse audiences."

Georgia Grown, a program operated by the Georgia Department of Agriculture, is dedicated to advancing the state's rich agricultural legacy. Through its partnership with Americas Mart, Georgia Grown provides a significant platform for small businesses to showcase their products at one of the world's premier home and gift shows in Georgia's backyard.

“The Mart provides us the opportunity to showcase and sell our Georgia Grown products to businesses all across the U.S.A. and especially within the Southeast. Not only does it give us a chance to sample our products with potential customers, but it also gives them a chance to learn about us, hear our story, and see our passion. We love the connections and networking that can happen at the Mart that help grow our business even more,” said David Goodson, Georgia Grown Member and Owner of Goodson Pecans. “We are so grateful for the support we have from Georgia Grown, which helped to make it possible for us to attend. It is a special thing to be part of a state that stands behind Georgia Grown artisans so well.”

The inclusion of Georgia Grown companies in this event is a significant milestone, highlighting the best of Georgia's agricultural products and craftsmanship. Visitors can expect an array of top-tier products ranging from artisanal foods to handcrafted body care items, all representing the incredible quality and diversity of Georgia's agriculture. This event showcases the state's rich agricultural heritage and demonstrates its entrepreneurs' innovative spirit.
