Baker Farms of Norman Park, GA is voluntarily recalling a single production run of Kroger 16-ounce bagged Collard Greens, due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination.

Listeria monocytogenes is an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Although healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.

To date, there have been no reports of illness related to the consumption of this bagged collard green product.

The recalled product,16-ounce bags of Kroger Collard Greens, were sold in the produce department and can be identified as having a UPC code of 11110-18171 with a Best By date of 10-16-2023 and production code 110093-387 (see picture below). All potentially affected products have been removed from store shelves.

The issue was discovered by the Tennessee Department of Agriculture while conducting routine product testing.

The product was distributed to various Kroger retail locations in the Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, South Carolina and Tennessee. The recall also impacts parts of Illinois, Indiana and Missouri.

Customers who have purchased the affected product are urged to dispose of it or return it to their local store for a full refund.

Nature's Path Organic Foods is voluntarily recalling specific batches of its Organic Pumpkin Spice Waffles and Organic Dark Chocolate Chip Waffles because they may contain trace amounts of undeclared peanuts. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
The affected products were only sold in the USA. This issue is isolated to two batches of Organic Pumpkin Spice Waffles and Organic Dark Chocolate Chip Waffles with the following lot codes:

The impacted products are sold in the freezer aisle, packaged in 7 oz (2 waffles (70g) servings), and lot codes can be found on the bottom flap of each box.

While no illness or reports of allergic reactions have been reported to date, these specific batches are being voluntarily recalled. No other products or lots within the U.S. are impacted by this voluntary recall. The issue stemmed from a manufacturing error through an external partner that produces products for Nature's Path Organic Foods.

Don Miguel Foods, a Dallas, Texas establishment, is recalling approximately 10,642 pounds of frozen ready-to-eat (RTE) carne asada burrito products that may be adulterated with Listeria monocytogenes, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.

The frozen RTE carne asada burrito items were produced on September 27, 2023. The following products are subject to recall :

  • 7-oz. individual wax paper packages containing “DON MIGUEL Hand Made BURRITO CARNE ASADA” with date code D23270 printed on the package.

The products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. 20049” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to retail convenience store locations nationwide.

The problem was discovered after the establishment’s laboratory testing indicated the product may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The establishment notified FSIS that some of the affected product was distributed into commerce.

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider.  
Consumption of food contaminated with L. monocytogenes can cause listeriosis, a serious infection that primarily affects older adults, persons with weakened immune systems, and pregnant women and their newborns. Less commonly, persons outside these risk groups are affected.

Listeriosis can cause fever, muscle aches, headache, stiff neck, confusion, loss of balance and convulsions sometimes preceded by diarrhea or other gastrointestinal symptoms. An invasive infection spreads beyond the gastrointestinal tract. In pregnant women, the infection can cause miscarriages, stillbirths, premature delivery or life-threatening infection of the newborn. In addition, serious and sometimes fatal infections in older adults and persons with weakened immune systems. Listeriosis is treated with antibiotics. Persons in the higher-risk categories who experience flu-like symptoms within two months after eating contaminated food should seek medical care and tell the health care provider about eating the contaminated food.

FSIS is concerned that some product may be in consumers’ freezers. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.

Select Custom Solutions is conducting a voluntary recall because Jay Robb Vanilla Flavored Egg White Protein 24 oz, lot 23080-2C2 with a time stamp of 09:00 to 12:00 may contain hard plastic foreign material which could pose a choking hazard. This product was sold nationwide through online order retail sale outlets.
This action relates only to Jay Robb Vanilla Flavored Egg White Protein 24 oz pouches with the following lot code and time stamps printed on the package:
a. 23080-2C2 with a time stamp of 09:00 to 12:00
No other lot codes of Jay Robb products or any other Select Custom Solutions products are involved in this action.
We are asking that all product with the lot code and time stamp range listed above be removed from retail distribution. Customers should discontinue use and discard the product. Customers may call the number listed or email us for instructions on how to receive a refund.
No adverse events have been reported for this product, but we are voluntarily recalling this product out of an abundance of caution.

Betty Lou’s Inc. is voluntarily recalling 1.76oz (50g) packages of Stabilyze Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter, BB 05APR24 0053, due to undeclared sesame allergen. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to sesame run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

The recalled product was shipped to retail stores, distribution companies, or directly to consumers through Betty Lou’s website in AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, KY, MA, MI, MT, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, TN, TX, WA, WI, and WY.

Stabilyze Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter bars are packaged and sold individually in 1.76oz (50g) packages, with UPC 0 16073 00213 1, or packaged into 12ct displays box with UPC 0 16073 00223 0

Individual packages (1.76oz) are marked with best by date and lot number on the inside of the fin seal on the back of the package or printed on the back of the display box. Packages with BB 05APR24 0053 are affected in this recall.

No other products or lots are affected by this recall. No reports of illnesses or injury have been reported to date.

The recall was initiated after it was discovered through an internal Betty Lou’s Inc labeling review and found that a natural peanut flavoring containing sesame oil, but sesame is not declared on label. This recall is being made with the knowledge of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Customers with a sesame allergy or sensitivity who have purchased the affected product, are urged not to consume the product, and dispose of it or return it to their place of purchase for a full refund. Kula Brands LLC is recalling Kula Can - Pina Colada + Kratom Seltzer due to the presence of undeclared tree nuts (coconut) and milk. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to tree nuts (coconut) and/or milk, run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

Product was distributed through retail stores, mail order, and direct delivery beginning on 7/10/2023.

The recalled Kula Can brand Pina Colada + Kratom Seltzer is packaged in 12 oz cans with UPC CODE: 371334085880 and LOT NUMBER: U17831532PNCL.
Status of the number of and types of related illnesses that have been CONFIRMED to date: No illnesses have been reported to date.

The recall was initiated after it was discovered that product containing (the allergen) was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of tree nuts (coconut) and milk. Subsequent investigation indicates the problem was caused by a temporary breakdown in the company's production and packaging processes.

Consumers who have purchased the product should return to the place of purchase for a full refund. Orgain LLC is voluntarily recalling a limited production run of its Organic Protein Powder + Superfoods, Creamy Chocolate Fudge flavor, because it may contain an undeclared sesame allergen.

People who have a sesame allergy or severe sensitivity to sesame run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product. Protein Powder + Superfoods, Creamy Chocolate Fudge 43.8 ounce/2.64 lb. is an item exclusively sold at Costco. The impacted product is limited to four lots and has been traced to select Costco warehouse locations, but not to Costco’s e-commerce site. No other Orgain products or retailers are affected by this voluntary recall.

No illnesses have been reported to date.

A co-manufacturer inadvertently used sesame in a limited production of Orgain's Organic Protein + Superfoods, Creamy Chocolate Fudge flavor. The co-manufacturer informed Orgain that the product was distributed with an undeclared sesame allergen and Orgain initiated the recall.

Orgain is working closely with Costco and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on this recall. Costco has notified its members who purchased the affected product between September 8th - 28th.
We recommend that consumers return any unused product marked with the below lot numbers and expiration dates to a local Costco for a full refund. The product comes in a 43.8 ounce/2.64 lb., white plastic package marked with the lot number and expiration date printed on the bottom.

Sheng Kee of California, Inc.is voluntarily recalling varieties of Mooncake Gift Boxes for customers that have any issues because they may contain undeclared egg wash. People who have allergies to egg run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

The recalled Mooncakes were distributed nationwide in retail stores and through mail orders. We are working with our wholesalers and retailers to relabel and refit the current boxes.

The products come in Glossy Paper Gift Boxes in Various Colors with an expiration labeled on the bottom of the box.

Custom Made Meals, LLC, a Denver, Col. establishment, is recalling approximately 1,345 pounds of bacon wrapped jalapeno product due to misbranding and undeclared allergen, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. The product contains milk, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label.

The bacon wrapped jalapeno item was produced with the incorrect product label affixed to the packaging on August 30, 2023. The following product is subject to recall [view labels]:

  • Variable weight black plastic trays with clear top film containing “Bacon-Wrapped BBQ Seasoned Chicken Grillers” and a code date of “USE BY 21-SEPT-23” represented on the label.

The products subject to recall bear establishment number “M4121A/P-4121A.” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to retail locations in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Louisiana, Missouri, and Texas.

The problem was discovered when the producing establishment notified FSIS that a retail store informed them the product had the incorrect label affixed to the packaging.

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider.

FSIS is concerned that some product may be in consumers’ refrigerators and/or freezers. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.

On September 5, 2023 the firm was notified by South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC) that their Not Fried Chicken ice cream treat test positive for Listeria monocytogenes. The firm also decided to recall their Life Is Peachy Ice Cream treats because both products were manufactured in the same room.

No illnesses have been reported to date.

We began shipping this product on 8/21/2023. These products were packaged in lamented buckets and plastic wrap and shipped to distribution centers in GA, IL, MD, NC, NY, SC, and TX. Product was shipped via online directly to consumers located in all fifty states plus the District of Columbia.

Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them and to return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund or they may discard the product.
