This holiday season, Georgia residents can shop closer to home with Georgia Grown

The Georgia Department of Agriculture’s Georgia Grown program is partnering with Georgia-based The Cook’s Warehouse to offer artisan food products for sale online at www.cookswarehouse.com/georgia-grown. The new e-commerce web page solely devoted to Georgia Grown merchandise will go live Oct. 15, just in time for holiday shopping.

“Whether you’re looking to spice up a favorite recipe or looking for the perfect holiday gift, Georgia Grown artisan products will satisfy the most demanding tastes,” said Holly Chute, Executive Chef of the Georgia Grown program. “They are gifts that give many times over because every purchase supports our local farm families and businesses.”

The products will be supported by an advertising campaign featuring videos of Chef Holly demonstrating easy dishes to entertain friends and family with Georgia Grown products. The recipes will be helpful and timely as the busy holiday party season begins.

“Plus, these artisan foods are a truly thoughtful gift for any dinner guest to bring their host,” added Chute.

The videos will be targeted to food enthusiasts in Georgia, and will appear on popular social media platforms under the tagline: “Shop closer to home with Georgia Grown.”
