Required of a business entity to engage in the business of Structural Pest Control. Structural Pest Control refers to the process intended to eliminate, remove, and inspect for unwanted insects and/or animals in or around structures. Anyone who is in the business of pest control including a single individual must have a structural pest control company license. Subject to the provisions of the Rules and Regulations of Georgia Structural Pest Control Commission and administered by the Georgia Department of Agriculture within the guidelines of the Georgia Structural Pest Control Act.
No person shall operate a structural pest control company unless license to operate with the Georgia Department of Agriculture Structural Pest Control Section. Applications for a company license shall be made on the appropriate form required by the Structural Pest Commission and submitted to the Georgia Department of Agriculture Structural Pest Section. Company License and Research fees shall be submitted to the Georgia Department of Agriculture in the form of a certified check, money order, or online with a credit card. Company license shall be for a period of two years or fraction thereof and shall expire on June 30th in each odd numbered year.
