Georgia Recall Alerts 2015

The following list includes Class I and some Class II recalls that have impacted the State of Georgia either through product that was produced/processed and/or distributed within the state.

  • Pinnacle Foods Group LLC - Wish-Bone Ranch Salad Dressing due to the product containing Wish-Bone Blue Cheese Dressing, inadvertently packed in Ranch Salad Dressing bottles
  • H-E-B - H-E-B Hamburger and Hotdog Buns and Hill Country Fare Hotdog Buns due to the possible presence of foreign material that might impact the quality of the product.
  • Grand BK Corp. - Goodies Cashew Raw because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.
  • Walgreen Co. - Nice! Powdered Sugar Mini Donuts because it has received consumer complaints alleging that mold was observed on some products.
  • Ainsworth Pet Nutrition - Nutrish® Wet Cat Food Varieties Ocean Fish-a-licious, Lip Smackin’ Sardine & Mackerel, Ocean Fish & Chicken Catch-iatore, Tuna Purrfection, and Paw Lickin’ Chicken & Liver due to potentially elevated levels of vitamin D
  • Santa Barbara Smokehouse - Cold Smoked Salmon Includes brand names Cambridge House, Coastal Harbor, Harbor Point, North Shore S.F. Specialty, Channel Islands and Santa Barbara because it has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes
  • The Popcorn Factory - Lite Works Dill Pickle Popcorn 4oz bags because it may contain undeclared milk.
  • Falcon Trading Company Inc. - SunRidge Farms Coconut-Medium Shred and Vanilla Coconut Candy Chews The product may contain very small stainless steel wire
  • Golden Krust Bakery - Jamaican Style beef & chicken patties due to misbranding and undeclared allergens
  • Waymouth Farms, Inc. - raw pine nuts in various sizes because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella
  • Inventure Foods, Inc. - Fresh Frozen™ and amba “At Home” Products due to finding of Listeria monocytogenes, in its Jefferson, GA facility.
  • Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams - all ice creams, frozen yogurts, sorbets, and ice cream sandwiches Products because of the possible presence of Listeria monocytogenes
  • Sweet Sam's Baking Company - Starbucks Black & White Mini Cookies because they contain milk, an allergen that is not declared on the packaging
  • ***Expanded Recall*** Blue Bell - ALL Products recalling all of its products currently on the market made at all of its facilities including ice cream, frozen yogurt, sherbet and frozen snacks because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes
  • Prolainat - Trader Joe’s A Dozen Sweet Bites (Chocolate & Coffee “Opéra” Cake, Raspberry “Macaron Aux Framboises” Cake, Caramel & Chocolate Cake) due to undeclared coconut
  • Superior Foods, Inc. - Simply Balanced Organic Chopped Spinach 10-oz steam in bag due to the possible presence of Listeria monocytogenes
  • Carmel Food Group - Rising Moon Organics frozen Ravioli items because of possible presence of Listeria monocytogenes
  • Amy’s Kitchen, Inc. - organic spinach products due to the possible presence of Listeria monocytogenes
  • Nutiva - Beef Ravioli Products a raw material in this product have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella
  • Aurora Products, Inc. - Aurora Natural Brand and Certain Private Label Brand Walnuts and Trail Mixes because they have the potential to contain Salmonella
  • Frontier Co-op - Frontier and Simply Organic brands and one product sold under the Whole Foods Market brand due to potential Salmonella contamination
  • Kraft Foods Group - Kraft Macaroni & Cheese Dinner due to the possibility that some boxes may contain small pieces of metal.
  • Trader Joe's - raw walnuts products have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella
  • Badia Spices, Inc. - ground cumin product with undeclared peanut protein. Peanut is an allergen that is not declared on the product’s ingredient statement
  • Trader Joe’s - Cinnamon Almonds Undeclared Peanuts in Cinnamon Almonds
  • Talenti® Gelato & Sorbetto - Sea Salt Caramel Gelato because they may inadvertently contain peanuts (as peanut butter), which are not listed as an ingredient on the label.
  • WhiteWave Foods - Horizon Cheddar Sandwich Crackers because they may contain undeclared peanuts.
  • Old Home Kitchens - Sock It To Me Crème Cake because they contain undeclared pecans.
  • Sunfood - Organic Sacha Inchi Powder because it has the potential to be contaminated with Staphylococcus enterotoxin.
  • Hines Nut Company - Walnut Halves and Pieces These nuts may be contaminated with Salmonella
  • See’s Candies, Inc. - Classic Red Heart with Assorted Chocolates because it contains undeclared tree nuts.
  • Whole Foods Market - Raw Macadamia Nuts Whole Foods Market is recalling packaged raw macadamia nuts due to possible Salmonella
  • ***Expanded Recall*** Freeland Foods, Inc. - Go Raw Organic Sunflower Seed because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella
  • REO Spice & Seasoning, Inc. - REO Country Style Chili Seasoning may contain peanut protein allergens that are not declared on the products’ ingredient statements.
  • Aron Streit, Inc. - Streit's Dark Chocolate Coins because they may contain undeclared milk allergens.
  • Probar, LLC - Probar Base® Frosted Peanut Butter Bars due to the possible presence of an undeclared milk allergen.
  • Freeland Foods, Inc. - Go Raw Organic Spicy Seed Mix because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella
  • Oma's Pride - Purr Complete Feline Poultry Meal because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella
  • Garden Lites - various products due to the fact that they contain undeclared peanuts.
  • Gilster-Mary Lee - Market Pantry Honey & Oat Mixers Ready to Eat cereal because it may contain undeclared almonds.
  • Zenobia Company - My Spice Sage Cumin Ground because they may contain undeclared peanut protein.
  • MorningStar Farms - Black Bean Burgers may inadvertently contain peanut, an allergen that is not declared on the products’ ingredient statements.
  • Con Yeager Spice Company - ground cumin and multiple seasoning blends due to undeclared Peanut allergens in the ground cumin.
  • caramel apples - Happy Apple Brand, Merb’s Candies brand Bionic Apples and Double Dipped Apples, and Bidart Brothers Gala or Granny Smith apples possible product contamination with Listeria monocytogenes
  • Zilks Foods, LLC - hummus products because they may contain undeclared peanuts.
  • J & B Sausage Co. - chicken and beef products products due to misbranding and undeclared allergens
  • Campos Foods, LLC - Rockin' Roasted Chicken drums, thighs and quarters (w/smoke flavor added)
