Marc Taft is the chef and owner of Chicken and the Egg and the executive chef and operating partner at The Castle in Atlanta, Georgia. Since opening Chicken in the Egg in August 2011, Taft has received several accolades for his sophisticated yet approachable American farmstead fare. With a bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama, Taft began his career working for national restaurant companies such as Carlson Hospitality and Brinker International and has since held executive chef and corporate chef positions with a variety of restaurants. Taft resides in West Cobb with his wife, Elizabeth.
