Imported Grassplot brand Dried Pachyrhizus is recalled for sulfites not on packaging label

An imported dried edible tropical plant, a product of China, is being recalled due to a preservative, not listed as an ingredient.

Lion Pavilion LTD, Brooklyn, NY, is recalling eight-ounce packages of Grassplot brand Dried Pachyrhizus.  It contains sulfites that are not listed as an ingredient in its packaging.  Consumers who are sensitive to sulfites may have a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

The product comes in an eight-ounce, clear plastic package without production codes or dates.  The recalled product was distributed nationally.

Consumers who have purchased packages of Grassplot brand Dried Pachyrhizus should return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
