Georgia Commissioner of Agriculture Tommy Irvin has alerted consumers to the recall of three Asian foods because they contain sulfites, a known allergen.
All of the foods were distributed nationwide by Fine Land Corp, Brooklyn, New York.
The three recalled foods are:
• Ying Feng Foodstuffs brand dried snow fungus in 3-oz, uncoded clear plastic packages;
• Ying Feng Foodstuffs brand Dried Bulbus Lily on 10-oz, uncoded clear plastic packages;
• Golden Girl brand “Mut Gung” sweetened ginger in 7-oz, uncoded rigid plastic containers.
Consumers who are sensitive to sulfites may have serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume these food products.
The Ying Feng foods are products of China. The Golden Girl is a product of Vietnam.
