Alexia Foods recalls frozen potatoes for unlisted nuts

Commissioner Tommy Irvin is alerting Georgians to the recall of some frozen potato wedges for unlisted allergens.
Alexia Foods of Kennewick, Wash. is recalling packages of Alexia – Olive Oil, Sun-Dried Tomatoes & Pesto Oven Reds (frozen seasoned potato wedges) because the product contains pine nuts that are not listed on the label.
The potatoes are packaged in 15-ounce. white poly bags with the UPC # 34183 00108. The following sell by dates are printed on the upper left back panel of the package: 5385050811, 5385050911, 5385051011, 5385051111.
People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to pine nuts run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
