Imported seed paste moon cakes recalled for eggs not listed on the product label

Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tommy Irvin alerts consumers to the recall of a seed paste moon cake that has an egg ingredient not listed on the label.

Domega International Company, LTD., Inc., Brooklyn, NY, is recalling WHITE LOTUS SEED PASTE MOON CAKE (2 YOLKS) because it contains eggs that are not listed on the product label.

Consumers who are allergic to eggs may run the risk of serious or life- threatening illness.

The product, made in China and distributed nationally, is sold in a 22.5 ounce metal tin without production codes or dates.
