Bakery-Style Chocolate Chip Muffin Mix by Duncan Hines being recalled today says Agriculture Commissioner Tommy Irvin
Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tommy Irvin is alerting consumers today concerning the recall of some boxes of Duncan Hines Bakery-Style Chocolate Chip Muffin Mix co-packed by the Pinnacle Foods Corporation, Mountain Lakes, NJ.
The muffin mix, part of a limited production, is being voluntarily recalled by the manufacturer due to ‘undeclared milk product’ in the ingredients not listed on the label.
This recall applies only to "DUNCAN HINES BAKERY-STYLE CHOCOLATE CHIP MUFFIN MIX" with the UPC codes of 44209 and 42012 and the Production Codes: 27166523, 27266521, 27266522, 27266523, 31266522, 31266523, 06666622, and 06666623. The production codes are located on the top of the carton.
“Our concern is with consumers who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk,” Irvin said. “This specific product should be returned to the place of purchase for a full refund.”
The recall does not apply to other Duncan Hines products, Irvin says
