Milk Allergy Alert
General Mills voluntarily recalls Golden Grahams
Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tommy Irvin informed consumers today that some boxes of 13-ounce Golden Grahams cereal are being voluntarily recalled for possibly containing milk without listing it on the label.
“All ingredients must be listed on the label. Consumers with an allergy to milk may be affected,” said Irvin.
The voluntary recall includes only 13-ounce boxes of Golden Grahams cereal produced with the following “BETTER IF USED BY” code dates:
20JUL07WC, 21JUL07WC, 22JUL07WC, 23JUL07WC, 24JUL07WC, 25JUL07WC, 26JUL07WC.
No other General Mills cereals are affected by this recall.
Irvin advised consumers to check the dates of their Golden Grahams cereal. “If you have the affected cereal, contact General Mills at 1-800-328-1144 for a full refund,” he said.
