More than 100 dogs available for adoption
from Northeast Georgia animal facility
Georgia Department of Agriculture Commissioner Tommy Irvin is inviting the public to come adopt the more than 100 dogs that remain at the “N.E. GA Canine Angels Rescue and Referral” facility in Dewey Rose.
Animal lovers and currently licensed animal care shelters and providers can visit the facility at 2179 Pulliam Mill Road, Dewey Rose, to adopt an animal or animals of their choice beginning at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 2, and continuing Saturday, June 3 at 10:00 a.m. if necessary.
Interested persons should come with a portable kennel to transport the adopted dog. These animals are offered free of charge “as-is” without warranty, or guarantee of condition on a first-come basis.
