Sulfites not listed on the label prompt recall of Goldensmell brand Dried Fungus
Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tommy Irvin warns consumers that Strong America Ltd, Long Island City, NY, is recalling Goldensmell brand Dried Fungus because it may contain undeclared sulfites.
The Goldensmell brand Dried Fungus, produced in China, is packed in uncoded 11 oz. packages. The product was sold in Georgia, New York and Maine.
Consumers who have severe sensitivity to sulfites, a preservative, run the risk of serious or life-threatening reaction if the product is ingested.
Georgians who have purchased the Goldensmell brand Dried Fungus may return the product to its place of purchase for a full refund. Those with questions may call Strong America Limited at (718) 628-6200.
