Agriculture Commissioner endorses 25 X ’25 for energy independence
Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tommy Irvin has endorsed the 25x’25 program for greater energy independence.
The 25x’25 program is a goal for America to get 25 percent of its energy from renewable resources like wind, solar and biofuels by the year 2025.
“It may be a challenge, but we need to meet that challenge. I think we can do it. I am a firm believer in research and in the ‘can-do’ attitude of Americans,” said Commissioner Irvin.
