Equine Auction 10/17/09
Pursuant to Section 4-13-7 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, Humane Care for Equines Act (O.C.G.A. § 4-13-1 etseq.), the Georgia Department of Agriculture will conduct a live auction on the following equine:

YANG – 2 yr. old bay grade mare
SOUL – 3 ½ yr old brown grade mare
MEDUSA – 5 yr old buckskin grade mare
HERCULES – 15 yr old grey Percheron gelding
SASSY – 11 yr old black grade TWH mare
STILTZ – 4 month old black grade TWH colt
TRIPLES A DREAM – 18 yr old REGISTERED Quarter Horse gelding
REBA – 10 yr old tattooed Thoroughbred mare
PJ – 2 yr old grade paint mare
JULIETTE - 5 yr old black grade TWH mare
AMBER – 14 yr old sorrel grade mare
FESTUS – 20 yr old grade roan Appaloosa gelding
SALLY – 8 month old grade Paint filly
MS. KITTY – 16 yr old grey grade mare
DOC – 12 yr old sorrel grade gelding
MATT – 8 yr old flea bitten grey grade gelding
BIRTIE – 12 year old sorrel grade mare
SAM – 6 yr old sorrel grade gelding

This auction will be held at the Georgia Department of Agriculture, Jasper County Impound Facility located at
The Department makes no representation regarding any registration or possible registration nor the physical condition of said equine. Any documentation in possession of the Department of Agriculture regarding registration, physical condition or past veterinary treatment of said equine is available upon request; however, notwithstanding the availability of such documentation, or lack thereof, or verbal information given to the Department, the sale is on an "as is" basis without any representation regarding registration, physical condition or acceptable use of the animal.
The Department reserves the right to add or withdraw equines to or from any auction. The successful bidder must be prepared to tender the price by cashiers check, money order, cash, or with personal check accompanied with a letter of bank approval. Payment MUST be made at the time of pick up. Overnight housing will be available for an additional fee.
The Georgia Department of Agriculture may refuse to accept any bids made at this auction or any future auction.
These horses are subject to periodic inspection by the Georgia Department of Agriculture for a period of 12 months.
