Seasons of Georgia Focus of Cookbook
Georgians are fortunate to live in a state that has a long growing season, which allows gardeners and farmers to produce a variety of fruits and vegetables from early spring to late fall.
The Georgia Department of Agriculture cookbook, Seasons of Georgia, features selected recipes from the Farmers and Consumers Market Bulletin that utilize fruits and vegetables that are available during each season. The recipes from this kitchen keepsake cookbook were provided by Bulletin readers who shared their favorite recipes throughout the years.
The book contains a number of beautiful color photographs of some of the prepared recipes, a handy substitution guide, tips and suggestions alongside many of the recipes, and a special “lay flat” binding that makes it easy to use in the kitchen. In addition, there are spaces in the book where users may make their own notations, whether it’s a comment about a recipe, or a memory of learning to cook.
