Dear Editor:

The Gilbert House is a national historic site located in southwest Atlanta at Avery Park. The Perkerson Civic Association (PCA) is working to accessorize the approximately 12-acre site with period items, such as two wagons. Gilbert House is a post-Civil War farmhouse that was built around 1865 after Sherman’s march to the sea.  It was constructed of pebbles and fieldstones and built without mortar. 

Any assistance your readers can provide in helping us locate two wagons and other items of the period would be greatly appreciated.
