Trade Office Offers Marketing Assistance

Increased international competition for agricultural markets has made it more important than ever for Georgia farmers and agribusinesses to continue to develop new markets for their raw agricultural commodities and further processed products; however, it can be difficult for individuals and companies with limited resources and expertise to develop new markets.

The Georgia Department of Agriculture’s Office of International Trade and Domestic Marketing assists Georgia farmers and companies in exploring new market opportunities and expanding existing markets.  Those interested in new market opportunities are encouraged to check the Market Bulletin for a listing of upcoming trade shows and market opportunities.
